Amy has two ranges with a distinctly vintage feel. Her first range incorporates the photographed characters from vintage postcards to make pieces of jewellery with a nostalgic narrative; sometimes setting the images behind stones to include them as precious elements, and sometimes using photo-etching, to create the suggestion of a contemporary cameo. She wishes this range to reflect the romantic sentiment with which the postcards were originally sent.
Her latest range is inspired by a spyglass from a children's story. The pieces are all sterling silver which has been gold and black rhodium plated and set with semi-precious stones. Many of these pieces have elements of movement to evoke heritage optical instruments.
Although these ranges are different, they form a cohesive collection, sharing a sense of narrative and time; also incorporating the same palette of semi-precious stones.
